- Oh No is a beautifully presented 62’ Traditional style narrowboat built in 2001 by the highly regarded Johnathan Wilson. She underwent a complete refit in 2007 by Hewitt Marine and has been in the caring hands of her current owners since.She has been well prepared for sale and was re-blacked and had a hull survey late December 2022 / early January 2023. The roof was re-painted at the same time along with the gunwales. The Boat Safety Cert also runs until July 2026.She has beautiful bows and a large (6’) well deck at the front. The 405 litre stainless steel water tank sits under, and the gas bottles sit in the bow locker.The boat is a wonderful mixture of quite modern and, with the Gardner 2LW and trad stern, quite traditional. Steps lead into the 12’4” saloon from the well deck. This is a lovely open space with a solid fuel stove, a 26” wall mounted TV (with BluRay and surround sound) and a super comfy two seater leather sofa. This could be replaced with a sofabed if needed. At the aft end of the saloon, a breakfast bar delineates saloon from galley. There would be room under here for a washing machine if required.The galley is over 10’. The work tops are oak and utilities comprise of a Belfast sink, a 230v fridge with separate freezer, a wine fridge, and a 3 burner gas hob with full size gas oven & grill. There is plenty of storage including an ingeniously hidden large larder cupboard under the starboard gunwales. A side hatch adds light and air.A corridor leads to the bathroom accessed through a sliding door. This has a good sized shower cubicle, 6 linen shelves, a Thetford cassette loo (with spare cassette) and a stylish counter top circular glass basin with a water feature tap. The engine room is next. This has side hatches either side and houses the well maintained and beautiful sounding Gardner 2LW. There is a pigeon box over.The cosy bedroom is last. The fixed double is 6’2”x4’ and has storage underneath. There is also a shelf at the head of the bed, and storage under the floor boards at the foot. A pigeon box sits over.Steps lead up to the stern deck.She is centrally heated by an Eberspacher diesel fired boiler. Hot water is heated by the Eberspacher, the engine or an immersion heater. 12v systems run off the bank of 5x domestic batteries and 3x starter batteries. Most of the lights are LED (including floor level mood lighting). 230v comes from the 2kw inverter or a landline.
