- Selwyn is a lovely 60’ semi-trad narrowboat built by Reeves, and fitted out by Darren Roberts Narrowboats in 2015. She is well presented, with the well deck and stern deck repainted in Summer 2023, the roof repainted in October 2023, and last blacked in November 2022.She is fitted out in a mix of oak faced ply, and painted ply, with oak trim, and solid oak flooring throughout.The well deck is covered with a cratch cover in good condition, and features a small freestanding cupboard for storage.Steps lead down, through glazed stable doors, into the 15’ 8” saloon. There are 2 comfortable armchairs, a Chilli Penguin solid fuel stove, 240v LG tv and Samsung sound bar, a 2 seat dinette bench and table, and a range of cupboards, shelves and drawers for storage. A port side hatch brings in additional light and fresh air.Next is the 8’1” galley, with red granite worktops, a 12v Shoreline fridge with icebox, Thetford oven & grill, Spinflo 4 burner gas hob, stainless steel sink, microwave, and heaps more storage. A houdini hatch, and starboard side hatch, bring in more light and fresh air.The off-corridor bathroom (5’6”) follows, with more granite worktops, a Thetford cassette loo (with spare cassette), a quadrant corner shower, and a couple of cupboards.Following, the 9’4” bedroom features a fixed 6’6” x 4’3” double berth with storage under and cupboards over. Hot water is via the engine, Webasto, and an immersion.12v power is via the 4x 130ah AGM domestics (NEW) and separate starter, topped up by 250w of solar with a Victron solar charge controller. 240v power is via a Sterling Pro Combi 2.5kw inverter/charger, or landline, with a galvanic isolator fitted too.Lighting onboard is LED throughout.She is ready to just move onto, and make the most out of 2024 on the canal!
