- Nerus is a 57’ Cruiser Stern Narrowboat built in 2008 by East West Marine. She is in good condition both inside and out and benefits from a recent engine service and and she was blacked (and new anodes) with epoxy 2 pack in May 2023.Entrance is from the stern. The cruiser stern deck has the engine, a Barrus Shire 35hp, under and there are 5 seats on the taff rail for comfortable cruising.Steps lead down into the bedroom. This is nearly 10’ long and has a fixed double bed (storage under and cupboards over), a full height wardrobe and storage drawers under the electrics cupboard.A corridor leads to the bathroom. This is a ‘wet room’ style arrangement with the shower tray under a slatted floor board which is removed when in use. There is a ceramic basin set over a cupboard and the loo is a Dometic cassette. The is a cupboard on the wall, and one under the basin.The galley is next and utilities comprise of a 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill, a 12v fridge & freezer, a stainless steel sink and plenty of storage cupboards. The worktops are granite and there is a breakfast bar area (with a stool) at the forward end. On the starboard side is an 8 bottle wine rack and shelves.Forward of the galley is the Pullman style dinette. This converts into a spare double berth and has storage under.The saloon is in the forward cabin. This has a two seater sofa with footstool, a couple of storage units, a solid fuel stove, a Smart TV/DVD and a CD/Radio.The well deck area has been converted into what the current owner calls a Games Room. It has been enclosed and has served as a chill out area. There are fold down seats either side if it was to be returned to the traditional well deck format. The stainless steel water tank is under.She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired boiler, and this also heats the hot water (as does the engine). 230v is from either landline or the 1600w Victron inverter / charger, and 12v is from the 205ah domestic battery. Most of the lights are LED and she has nearly 300w of solar power.She is a lovely boat, ready for immediate occupation.
