- 2006 - Shadow 26 - Aft Cockpit - Diesel Shaft Drive - Original Gelcoat - River Cruiser Built in 2006 LOA (Metres/Feet): 08.03m / 26'04 Draft (Metres/Feet): 00.66m / 02'02 Beam (Metres/Feet): 03.00m / 09'10 Air Draft (Metres/Feet): 01.98m / 06'06 The Shadow 26 is a great aft cockpit cruiser giving a large cockpit area while boasting a spacious interior despite being a 26ft vessel. She is easy to manage with the shaft drive Beta Marine Diesel engine and bow thruster to assist with mooring. Inside the cabin the 4 berth accommodation is made up from a large double berth in the bow which can be converted into a spacious comfortable sofa for daytime use, curtains are available to provide some privacy to the forward berth. Midships has a large dinette opposite the galley which also converts into a large double berth for overnight use. All the double bed infills are stored underneath the settee however there is ample other storage for belonging and clothes throughout the boat including a hanging locker in front of the forward berth. The Galley consists of an isotherm low energy fridge, a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water, a stainless steel 2 burner gas hob, a stainless steel gas cooker and plenty of storage. The sink and hobs both have glass lids to provide additional worktop preparation space while not in use. The Heads consist of an electric pump out toilet, a sink with pressurised hot and cold water and a shower with pressurised hot and cold water. Externally the boat is original gelcoat with canopy and upholstery in good condition. The windscreen, canopy and frame fold to allow access under most of the Broads Bridges (6’06 airdraft). Access is available via the rear boarding platform with a door to enter via the rear this provides both easy access for those less mobile and safety for those with pets or children. A boarding ladder is on the rear platform should anyone need to climb out of the water. Side access is provided via the deck with an in-hull step for areas with low quayheading and an internal step to enable easier access when stepping down to the cockpit. Mechanically the boat is powered by a shaft drive Beta Marine Diesel engine with a bow thruster to aid mooring, she has an electric windlass on the bow, navigation light for dusk/night time use, shorepower, battery charger, invertor, diesel warm air blown heating, wipers, speedo, depth sounder, compass, cd Radio, 12v lights. Dashboard gauges provide key engine information such as oil pressure, engine temperature, rpm, battery voltage, fuel level and engine hours.
