Bavaria C45 2019
This Bavaria C45 2019 is a meticulously maintained sailing yacht, ideal for immediate adventures on the water. With a length overall of 13.60 meters, a beam of 4.49 meters, and a draft of 1.75 meters, the Bavaria C45 offers a spacious and stable sailing experience.
Constructed with a durable GRP hull and powered by a 57HP Yanmar 4JH57 engine, the Bavaria C45 features a tunnel bow thruster for enhanced maneuverability. The yacht boasts a fuel tank capacity of 245 litres and two water tanks totaling 650 litres, ensuring ample resources for extended voyages. The hot water system and black water tanks add to the onboard comfort and functionality. Additionally, the Bavaria C45 2019 comes with a 2.5m Quicksilver dinghy and a 5hp Mercury engine.
The exterior design of the Bavaria C45 includes teak decks and a spacious sunbathing area, along with dual helm stations for improved visibility and ease of navigation. The cockpit is well-equipped with large tables that convert into sunbeds, extensive storage, and practical features such as an electric windlass and a bathing platform with a stainless-steel ladder. Inside, the yacht features a luminous "Club" Oak style interior with Wenge floorboards, a practical aft galley, and four double cabins. The saloon table can be converted into a double bed, and the three heads are fitted with electric toilets and showers. Dimmable LED lights and ample storage further enhance the interior comfort of the Bavaria C45 2019.
This Bavaria C45 has been lived on and well-maintained over the last years, remaining in excellent shape with all systems fully functional. The owners have sailed approximately 15,000 nautical miles with no damages. While a patch is needed on the mainsail and a few stitches on the jib, these minor repairs do not impede sailing. The Bavaria C45 2019 is ready to sail with sails and canvas stored. Engine maintenance was completed by an official Yanmar technician in September, and the boat has been back in the water since mid-May after winterizing and antifouling. For the next owner, some cosmetic work on the companionway stairs and cockpit table is optional, allowing for a personal touch.
The Bavaria C45 is currently lying in the Azores, where it can be viewed. The seller is offering to transport the yacht to the Mediterranean, included in the sale.
The owners plan to winterize the Bavaria C45 2019 around the end of November, with the yacht going back into the water at the beginning of April. Sea trials during this period may be complicated due to the owners' work commitments abroad, so they are keen to sell before the end of the year.

I have owned this beautiful yacht since she was built in 1979. Henri Wauquiez said he would build me a boat for life and he certianly did! Sadly the time has come to hang up my sailing boots!
She has nine berths in four cabins and a vast cockpit in which two people can also sleep in comfort.
She had a new mast fitted in 1993 which is taller than the previous one and is in fact the height originally designed by Holman and Pye for this yacht.
She is in good condition and a new engine was fitted in 2017 which has only done about 40 hours since then.
She has an extensive sail wardrobe including a rolling headsail, spinnaker and big boy by North Sails.
She is lying in La Manga Spain. Please contact me to arrange a viewing.

This boat is ready to cross oceans. The First series is the yacht that built Beneteau’s reputation. Built like a tank, quick, infinitely reliable and safe, and ready for adventure. This particular boat is extremely well cared for and I have continued that meticulous maintenance. If it broke, it was either repaired to a very high standard or replaced. Many of the fixtures are original and in great shape for a forty year old vessel. She has an impressive range with approx 90 hours on motor alone boosted by several 25l stored Jerry cans. This is the ideal larger cruiser for a new sailor and family, looking to break into cruising. She’s very forgiving and takes everything in her stride without fuss - while gently teaching you how to handle her. There’ll be no regrets or disappointments from buying this boat (only mine at selling her). 42,000 GBP (negotiable)
Beautiful 1904 Gaff Cutter, Merrymaid
An incredible opportunity to own a concourse condition classic yacht, of peerless bearing and strong sailing prowess.
Her hull is constructed of carvel-planked teak on oak frames, with a teak superstructure and decks. Her immaculate and mainly original cabinetry deliver a uniquely charming finish. The yacht’s outstanding condition is a reflection of the works undertaken by the current owner. Rescued from a life of houseboat obscurity, MERRYMAID underwent a complete and thorough rebuild by the renowned yard Southampton Yacht Services, (Velsheda, Thendara) in 2006. All of the original elements of her hull and interior were saved, with some highly sympathetic reproduction work also carried out. Importantly, her systems and rigging were brought into the 21st century, making her a yacht capable of cruising in complete comfort and safety. Following this very successful refit, she departed on a circumnavigation with her proud owner and went on to become the first gaff cutter to navigate the North West passage. She visited many fascinating and remote corners of the earth, details of which can be made available. On returning to Europe, MERRYMAID once again visited SYS in 2010 for a cosmetic overhaul and refresh, bringing her back to perfect condition and ready for another chapter in her long and eventful life.
Now based in Palma, she is fully equipped with spare parts and ready to impress her next owner.

Interior
Built in teak on oak frames by British yard Camper & Nicholsons to a design by Charles E Nicholson, she was delivered in 1904 as a gaff cutter. In spring of 2008, she completed an extensive refit that brought her back to her previous splendour and she then set sail for a worldwide circumnavigation. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins consisting of a large master suite aft and twins to port and starboard, all with en-suite shower facilities. There is also accommodation for six crew in three cabins aboard this yacht for sale.
A charming and very cosy saloon has two sofas, a dining table on a rise-and-fall mechanism, and there is skylight allowing the daylight to pour in, while further features include a gas-fired fireplace and an entertainment centre including a large Samsung television and a DVD system.
Forward of the helm station is a cockpit with a foldable table and seating for up to six guests, while the wheel has a quite unique instrument that shows the angle of steering. Under power, a Perkins Sabre diesel engine delivers a maximum speed of 10 knots.
Most of the boat is still original and there are spare parts for everything, which is a major plus for a boat of this age.
