Description

The CN Marine Dixie 27 (1976) is a compact and capable cruiser, well known for its solid construction and seaworthy design by Dudley Dix. This yacht offers a comfortable and manageable sailing experience for coastal cruising or island hopping.

Powered by a Yanmar YSB8G (8 HP) diesel engine that starts easily and runs cleanly, the boat is mechanically sound and ready to sail.

Below deck, there is one cozy cabin and a single head, with a simple but practical galley including a gas stove, fridge, and manual pumps. A 100-liter freshwater tank and a separate waste tank provide independence for longer trips.

The deck and hull are in very good condition, with fresh paint and no signs of osmosis. The boat is equipped with Barlow winches, a Bruce 20 kg anchor with 60 meters of chain, and sails in very good condition (4/5) that do not require any repairs.

Navigation is assisted by an ST2000 autopilot, manual and electric compasses, and a depth sounder, while power is supplied by a 100 W solar panel and two new Varta batteries.

The yacht also includes a Zodiac dinghy in great shape with a working Yamaha outboard, as well as a bimini and sprayhood for sun and weather protection.

Brought from Sweden and in Greece for only two years, this Dixie 27 has been carefully maintained and recently treated with two coats of primer and three coats of antifouling, making it a trustworthy and ready-to-sail vessel for those seeking a classic, well-kept yacht.

    *****SCAM WARNING*****

The most common scam is where the seller tells you they will deliver the boat and that your "money is covered by insurance" (there are fake boat dealers out there too).

Always talk to the seller on the phone, If the phone number on the listing doesn’t work or they never pick up then this is another sign it’s a scam.

If the price seems too good to be true then this is usually a scamAnd finally, never ever buy a boat without viewing it or getting someone you know to view it.
