  • Remarks :This Nelson 34 is a classic design motor yacht. This boat has a large deep cockpit and a comfortable v-berth in the forepeak. The boat has a full enclosure and high cockpit seating. Twin 200HP Perkins engines from 2005 with easy access for maintenance. This boat will require some TLC to bring it back to a presentable condition. Accommodation :This Nelson 34 offers a v-berth in 1 cabin. This boat has 6ft of headroom an has blue upholstery. The forward cabin offers great views with large windows surrounding the cabin. There is hatch access to the deck from the cabin and offers plenty of utility space, with wooden shelving port and starboard in the cabin. The port side head is equipped a manual flushing, marine compact toilet and basin. The heads provide a large amount of space, laid with teak flooring and more storage. The starboard galley is equipped with a 2-burner gas cooker and stainless-steel sink. Next to the sink is a worktop with storage underneath. The teak flooring runs throughout the boat, with easy access to the bilge. The cockpit has a very large and open space, with cushions over the starboard and port engines. The hull is blue and constructed in GRP, as is the superstructure and deck. This boat has a spade rudder and has a semi-displacement hull. The boat was last ashore 2021, anodes changed. The boat was last antifouled in 2019. Mechanical :Mechanical Systems:This Nelson 34 is powered by twin turbo 200HP Perkins 225m diesel engines. These 6-cylinder engines were changed in 2005 and have only 1500 engine hours (as of 03/11/22). Shaft driven to a fixed propellor and feature indirect cooling, hydraulic wheel steering and trim tabs, 2 x fuel tanks, made from GRP with a fuel capacity of 1000L. This boat’s cruising speed is 18kn and reaches a max speed of 24kn. The engines were last serviced in July 2022.Electrical Systems:The Nelson has 4 x 12v engine batteries at 100Ah, wired in series to 24Volts, age unknown and charged from the alternator.
