Built in 2004 by Dursley & Hurst, she has a cruiser stern and a cratch cover over the well deck. The ceiling is solid wood T& G and the sides are veneered timber. With her main cabin, a convertible dinette plus a pull-out sleeper couch, she can accommodate up to 6 people on board. Height to Cabin Centre 6ft 3” (1.90m) Well Deck (1,1m/3’6”)The covered well deck has a glazed cratch board to let in plenty of light. There is a large locker at the front of it which serves as a useful bench and also houses the battery for the bow thruster.Saloon (3,3m/10ft 8”) & Dinette (1,9m/6’2”)The carpeted saloon has a free-standing pull-out sleeper couch, a multi-fuel stove on a tiled hearth, a radio/CD player and a 22” TV. Open to both the saloon and galley on either side of it is the Pullman dinette which has plenty of storage beneath it and which also converts to a guest double berth. The galley is practically laid out with an eye-level Vanette GG7000 oven and grill, a Vanette 4 plate gas hob and an under-counter fridge with freezer compartment. There is a single sink with draining board and a wall mounted wine rack.Bathroom (1.17m/6’9”):Set to the side of the passageway which connects the main cabin from the living area is the bathroom. It is comfortably appointed with a tiled shower with glazed door, a Thetford macerator cassette toilet and a hand basin atop a vanity unit. Main Cabin (2,9m/9ft’6”):The carpeted main cabin features a fixed double bed with storage under and a cupboard over with reading lights. At the foot of the bed, on both sides of the cabin are spacious, full height cupboards, separated by the wooden steps leading up onto the rear cruiser stern which measures 1,8m/5’11” in length. Engine Room & ElectricsThe vessel is powered by a 40hp VETUS diesel engine showing 4 000 service hours. There is 1 starter battery & 3 domestic batteries (plus 1 bow thruster battery). - HULL: Built by David Piper in 1989. This boat comes with a hull survey from 2020. New anodes were fitted in 2022 and she was blacked in 2023. She is fitted out in highly varnished tongue and groove which gives it a deep rich colour. Although originally fitted out in 1989 she has been updated by her current owner to make a comfortable liveaboard. BERTHS: 2/3 BerthSALOON: Stepping through partially glazed front doors, we enter into a light and airy open plan saloon area with an attractively upholstered curved seating area with storage under. There is a tall cupboard and a Villager Puffin stove with back boiler set on a black hearth. Beyond is a second corner cupboard and a set of book shelves, while opposite that is a wall hung table and two chairs. Light is provided by large windows and 12v wall lights. There are a number of 12v and 240V sockets. The floor is covered in a mid oak effect laminate floor which goes throughout the boat.GALLEY: Set apart from the saloon by beautifully turned wooden posts, this galley kitchen has been modernised with solid wood work tops, below which are white painted cupboards, a fridge and washing machine. There is a Thetford oven with separate hob. At the end of the galley are two sets of side hatches and steps leading out of the boat, along with a useful full height wardrobe with light.BATHROOM: This cross bathroom has a Thetford cassette toilet, a shower with thermostatic mixer valve and a small vanity sink unit which has been set under the window. The walls are covered in an attractive white marble Aqua Board, and an airing cupboard houses the calorifier with immersion heater and additional storage.BEDROOM/BOATMAN’S CABIN:A nice example of a boatman’s cabin with attractive scumbling, decorated with roses and castles. It houses a solid fuel stove and authentic oil lamp. The double bed pulls down from within the unit.ENGINE ROOM & ELECTRICS :Under the back step is housed a Vetus M414 32hp diesel engine. There is a 3Kw Victron inverter, shore line and 2 x 175w solar panels with management system.Heating onboard is provided by an Eberspächer diesel heater (which can be managed remotely) serving the radiators and or the solid fuel stove. In addition, there is a solid fuel range in the boatman’s cabin. - Take It Easy is a 40’ reverse layout cruiser built in 1978 by Springer Engineering. She was fully refitted in 2019 by the previous owner, including treating and painting the inside of the hull, new wiring, plumbing, batteries and subfloor. She is now fitted out in white and light grey painted ply, with grey wood effect vinyl flooring throughout.She was last surveyed in December 2022, with a small amount of overplating and spot welding required, which has since been carried out. This survey is available for viewing in the office.The 8’0” stern deck features a low level gas locker, and taff rail around. The Lister 20hp engine is housed below.Steps lead down, through a starboard side door, into the 7’2” galley. The port side features a laminate worktop, Dometic 2 burner gas hob and sink combination unit, 240v SIA fridge with separate freezer section, and a range of cupboards. The starboard side has a granite worktop, more cupboards and 3 drawers.Next is the 6’3” saloon, with a fixed bench (which converts to a spare double) and 3 drawers under. A gateleg table with 2 folding chairs, and another high stool, provide ample space for dining.The off-corridor bathroom is 5’3”, with a sliding door across. Here is a large rectangular shower with curtain, ceramic wash basin, Thetford cassette loo (with 2 cassettes), and more cupboards.Following, the 6’3” bedroom is housed in the forward most cabin, with a fixed 6’3” x 4’0” double berth and storage under.Access to the well deck is over the bed, through glazed forward doors. A cratch board and cover are in serviceable condition, with 2 large storage locker/benches.She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired boiler connected to 3 radiators. Hot water is via the engine, Webasto, or immersion.12v power is via 4x 110ah domestics, with a separate starter. 240v is via a Power Star 2000w inverter/charger or landline. A separate Blue Smart charger is installed along with a galvanic isolator.Lighting onboard is LED throughout.She is a lovely little vessel, ideal for weekends away, and could even make a liveaboard home.
