The sort of vessel that comes to the market rarely, if you are in the market for a real head turner come and take a look at ‘Parglena’. On the outside she is an imposing vessel giving the impression of being much bigger than her 60ft length, the gunwales are wide with the boat being easy to walk around. The Wheelhouse is collapsible to bring the air draft down to 1.72m (under 6ft) allowing passage under low bridges. The vessel has 9 distinct areas from the engine bay at the stern through to the main cabin in the bow. Upon entering the wheelhouse, the helm has a large wheel with instrument panel, taking up the whole of the stern is the walk in engine room. There is a large amount of storage, a quality Northern Lights diesel generator and even more impressive is a Racor diesel polishing filter which can polish fuel from either fuel tank. A nice space to work in unlike many cramped engine bays on modern widebeams. Entry to the accommodation is also from the wheelhouse, down steps into a corridor with a large amount of storage, headroom is significant. To the port side is the main bathroom with a thetford toilet, shower cubicle and sink, in the bathroom cupboard is the dual circuit calorifier. Carrying on down the corridor is a utility area housing the washing machine and yet more storage. Next we come to the single second cabin, this has the benefit of an ensuite area containing a portaloo and sink, again under the bed there is yet more storage. This cabin could easily fit a small double or bunk beds. Next comes a well fitted galley kitchen with wooden work tops, a standalone cooker with 4 burner hob, fridge, freezer and loads of storage. The galley leads into the saloon, which again has extensive storage, it includes an air conditioning unit, a log burner, a skylight to the side. This leads through in to the main cabin, there is under bed storage and two wardrobes, with an exit hatch in the roof. Heating throughout, an abundance of 3 pin 240v sockets, a large array of 12V batteries, this is not your run of the mill widebeam, it has more of a ship feel to it. There is a vessel condition report from 2021, an independent valuation from 2022 and a certificate of gross tonnage. Viewing is highly recommended to appreciate what is on offer.
